in capital gains tax from midnight on June 23, investment
managers say that the move will have a little impact on
authorized funds. The announcement in the budget report

of UK funds has also been welcomed.

the world's high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in 2008
in the height of the financial crisis was recouped in
2009, driven by strong growth in Asia and in emerging
markets.

has regained its unwelcome status as the most expensive
city in the world for expats, thanks to the continued
strength of the Japanese yen, which has appreciated by
approximately 30% against the US dollar in the past three
years.
